Reiki
Reiki is a natural ancient Japanese healing modality that relaxes body and mind, enhancing our life force. Reiki relieves tension, removes energy blockages and supports the body's natural state of balance.
Used alongside conventional treatments for illness, Reiki can help manage pain, anxiety, and sleep & can improve general wellbeing.
Sound Healing
The use of sound vibrations for healing has been practiced globally since ancient times and is supported by modern science. Sound waves move through everything, including us.
As certain frequencies of sound waves pass through us, they are highly effective at triggering our relaxation response and entraining our brain waves & heart rate - which counters the symptoms of stress and re-balances our whole being.
My story
I'm a Reiki Master Practitioner and teacher. I work with Usui Reiki and the ancient practice of sound healing. I am a certified member of the UK Reiki Federation and The Sound Healing Academy. I offer sessions for groups and individuals looking to invite deep rest, relaxation and connection with our innate ability to restore balance and healing.
I worked as a cancer and palliative care nurse for 24 years, holding space for those experiencing some of the greatest challenges in their lives. I now hold space for those seeking to restore the natural balance forgotten by our bodies, minds and spirits in this modern world. I work with meditation, balancing Reiki and the transformative frequencies of sound. Using my voice, singing bowls, gongs, drums, chimes and other instruments, I enjoy creating an environment for people to relax, allowing themselves to come back into balance and feel restored.
I was widowed at 40 with an 8 year old son. Every single thing in my life changed and I learned - often the hard way - to move from surviving to thriving. Reiki, sound healing and meditation play a huge part in my healing journey in a beautifully ongoing way. I offer the chance for people who have been widowed to rest and connect with themselves and each other, in a safe space with those who understand and share common themes. Inviting a renewed sense of self, empowering a move towards a life where thriving is not only possible, but can become a reality.
Why the name OLAMIS? What does it mean?
OLAMIS is a combination of the names of our 4 children. It is a nod to the legacy of my late husband and my partner’s late wife.

Reiki and sound healing are based on energy vibrations. Everything around us vibrates, including our bodies. Our bodies receive vibrational energy and respond deeply.
When we combine Reiki and sound vibrations, the energy in our body flows more effectively. Sound energy helps break up blockages, allowing Reiki energy to reach all parts of our body - restoring balance.
Sound vibrations help our mind and body find calm and stillness. Adding Reiki creates deep relaxation and an incredibly peaceful state - which prompts our body to restore itself at a cellular level.
Combining Reiki with sound healing aids release of deeply held emotional trauma, stress and thought patterns - a powerful tool for supporting emotional processing.
Clients report increased clarity of thought, focus, and intuition - as well as an improved sense of spiritual connection.

Note: If you do not wish to receive Reiki, you can simply intend not to and focus only on the sounds.

Private sessions for individuals or groups. These can be arranged for specific times and will generally be held in our treatment cabin. The heated and air-conditioned cabin provides the perfect space for deep relaxation and healing. Other venues can be used for larger groups.

Distance Reiki
£65
1 x 90 minute distance Reiki treatment
A distance Reiki session involves receiving energy healing remotely, wherever you are located. It will include a brief consultation to discuss intentions and focus areas, the treatment itself, and follow up.
Distance Reiki is as effective as in-person sessions, with many clients finding it more comfortable, convenient, and equally profound.
